Avoid this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighborhood is great, very convenient
Cons:
- hot water can only last for 5 minutes then you have to shower cold or take a break then continue
- central AC is very unstable
- management will avoid repairing at all cost
- one of the room was leaking for more than a year before they even agree to take a look, never fix it
- super is horrible
Advice to owner:
do a better job

Leaking for two years
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent is OK before COVID, close to subway
Cons:
The super Jeannie is absolutely shit. My apartment has been leaking for 2 years. Every time I called her to come she either said she was busy or came and said they could not figure out what was wrong. I had to call 311 to finally get the landlord to see the leaking. And Jeannie yelled at me why you have to ask people to fix it during COVID... because it has been leaking long before COVID!! And my ceiling was starting to fall off!! And during my stay, my closet door fell off, I asked the apt to replace it, they never did. Our AC broke during the summer, it would randomly blow cold or hot wind. We asked the super to check it, and again she insisted nothing was wrong. So we had to turn off the AC in the summer whenever it started to blow hot wind. I was once locked up in my room, because the lock was broken... My neighbor’s apt has been flooded because of leaking and everything was soaked. He had to move to other places for a month until someone finally fixed it. Garbage sometimes smells during the summer. This building is just so badly maintained. We got it when it was still rent stabilized. But now... it’s definitely not worth it.
Advice to owner:
Take care of the building and replace your super.. don’t let her insult your tenants.
