Prepare for freezing winters, and ungodly electric bills
Pros
Gym, laundry in building, rooftop with a city view, dishwasher
Cons
We lived in this building for 2 years and are thrilled to be moving on. While at first glance, this building offers everything you can need and want in East Williamsburg. What they don’t tell you is how terribly poor the renovations back in 2013-2015, leave the building with extreme drafts and horrific energy efficiency. During the winter, our 3 bed, 1 bath consistently cost us $700-$1000 electric bills. Even when we were gone for 2 weeks out of the month, our bills reached $500 minimum. The Super and maintenance staff are kind and helpful, but management is neglectful and con artists. Do not rent here if you don’t want to be paying an extra rent payment just to barely keep your apartment warm enough in the winter.
