DO NOT BE FOOLED
Former Tenant
Pros:
I was fooled by the "remodeled interior"! Don't be fooled!!
Cons:
For starters, the basement floods regularly, rain or no rain. Who knows how many times this has happened over the years and who knows how much mold/structural damage there is. Trash isn't managed well. The building has no insulation including the windows so you hear every step and sound neighbors make, terribly cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. There's a catering company across the street that has a commercial garbage truck come every single night around midnight, sometimes later. There were WASPS in our bathroom...we never have the windows or doors open so this means they must have crawled in through the bathroom exhaust fan! Management does nothing to fix any issues. After telling them about the dangerous insects they did nothing and the next year 10 times more wasps in the basement where the common laundry is. The backyard was a JUNGLE until we the tenants fixed it up ourselves with no help financially or otherwise from management. When we asked for help they told us to F off. Every complaint, every issue they treated me horribly (I'm a woman) and then treated my boyfriend with more respect simply because he's a man. We lived there for under a year and had 3 different sets of neighbors in and out of the same apartment next to us because the apartment kept flooding. Management took zero responsibility for the damages despite their obvious neglect of maintenance and the tenants. Terrible building, worse management, sexist and irresponsible. Please don't give them a cent.
Advice to owner:
Get out of this business and stop ruining people's lives

Management doesn't care
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Small building, only 5 units. We got to know our neighbors very well. -you have access to the roof, and tenants sometimes throw get together so for holidays. It has an excellent view of the Manhattan sky line
Cons:
-it's 15-20 minutes away from the nearest train -our apartment (bottom floor) flooded a few times. Our windows leaked a lot. -the owner did not fix things very quickly. We went 3+ months without our washer/dryer working, and the leaky windows never got fixed.
Advice to owner:
Respect your tenants more.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - negligent and careless management company and landlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
Affordable rent for size
Cons:
Management will belittle you, ignore repair complaints, gaslight you, and do everything to avoid spending any kind of money. In violation of lease agreements, careless, reckless. Not worth it. Avoid avoid avoid.
