Nice Building with Horrible Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is bright with big windows and the common areas are well maintained.
Cons:
I have never had worse property management. It will take dozens of emails and phone calls to get in contact with property management over extremely urgent maintenance issues. So unresponsive, they never pick up their phones, and never respond to voicemails.
Advice to owner:
Actually answer your phones and email.

Bad heat, bad responsiveness, bad locks
Former Tenant
Pros:
High ceilings a lot of light
Cons:
I’ve lived here over 4 years and have a problem with the heater EVERY YEAR. Won’t stay on, requires extensive troubleshooting.

Terrible windows. If you are on the ground floor, they don’t shut properly and dust, bugs, leaves enter. Windows are paper thin so it gets really cold in the living areas.

No AC.

Doors and locks are total pain in ass. Front door always ends up unlocked.
Rent is too high for quality of building.

They did shitty redesign - there is a SINGLE closet in the entire 2BR unit.

They go through supers and porters rapidly. The supers don’t respond.

Why do I stay? It’s expensive to move. They have difficulty keeping the place occupied. If you want to rent here, negotiate your price - i have more than once. It’s overpriced. There are always vacancies. I cannot wait for my lease to end.

They will not allow you to get off your lease.
Advice to owner:
Invest time in thoughtful design of apartments if you want to charge market price. This is far from a luxury building.

Hire good supers that are respectful and responsive and pay them a livable wage.
