Terrible management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
Ok building and nice neighborhood.
Cons:
I’m from NYC, I’ve lived in many places in NYC, and this was the worst landlord and management company that I’ve ever dealt with. They are super greedy, and lie to your face. We moved in 2021, after 1 year they raised the rent 20% by $600, then a year later they again raised the rent by $600. We moved out but they could not find anyone to fill it at that price. A lot of turnover on this block, because they own about 50 apartments on the block. I don’t see anyone stay here for more than 1-2 years. They keep raising prices and charge the tenants fees, yet refuse to make any improvements to the building. They try to hold your deposit for no reason. They overcharge on rent illegally, and are super rude to their tenants. There is one super that takes care of 50 apartments on the block, the poor guy is over-worked, but they are too cheap to hire additional help, no matter what the issue is. I could go on…
Advice to owner:
Stop being such a greedy pupu head. Maybe treat your tenants with some dignity and respect? You are a parriah in this otherwise nice neighborhood.

Greedy corporate land-vampires
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near a park
Cons:
These land-vampires will raise your rent $600+ every year. I have never had a worse landlord.
Mice live in our oven, their monthly "exterminator" is no help.
Walls very thin we can hear our neighbors every step.
Unreasonable, greedy landlords who will nickel and dime you, raise your rent ridiculous amounts every year and treat you like a line on a spreadsheet not a human.
They do the bare minimum. They ask their tenants to send their super tips on the holidays. They try to keep deposits with no reason. The door knob on the front door of the building is hanging on my a thread and often does not lock. They advertise cellars to be used illegally as bedrooms. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, lots of used needles on the street. do not rent here.
Advice to owner:
stop being so greedy, treat your tenants like humans
