pretty good and clean
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean for the most part, quiet
Cons:
The mail area is not as controlled, letters sometimes don’t go in mailboxes which make them hard to find

Nice new building but management is eh.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amenities. Gym and laundry. Quite area
Cons:
Management was a PAIN to work with when we had maintenance issues. I felt like I was talking to ghosts on the phone.
Advice to owner:
Hire people who can take notes so they don’t call back and repeat wrong facts over and over

They never address your issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to subways and restaurants
Cons:
Management is unresponsive, build quality is horrible, and they never fix issues. Moved into the unit with no holes patched, warped floor due to water damage, toilet and windows unsealed, etc.. and then tried to tell us we caused all the damage and keep our security deposit. Once the building front door handle fell off and residents had to keep the door propped open so there was literally no security from the street. Management didn’t respond for 4+ days.

unfinished and too hot
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice building , elevator , gym, outdoor space
Cons:
My air conditioner broke and it took over 3 weeks to get it fixed. It was 90 degrees in my room while trying to work from home for 3 weeks and they kept sending people to fix it that had no idea how to fix it. Typical corners trying to be cut by cheap management, which I should’ve expected as the ceilings are unfinished. Bad water pressure and dryers in the building barley work. Also lots of package theft
Advice to owner:
Fix things that aren’t up to par - water pressure, bad dryers, slow closing elevator, and put a lock on the package storage room that actually makes sense. Also don’t take over 3 weeks to fix air conditioners.

Wonderful luxury apartment, bad management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good interior design, high ceilings, new appliances, amazing cupboard space with lighting, giant windows, ac in individual room (this is how you get heat too). Cute rooftop, you can watch soccer games on the weekend in the field in front, 2 blocks from L, 1 block from delis, bagel shop, donut shop, pizza, across street from a pharmacy. There is an amazing view of manhattan and brooklyn too. I always felt safe here. There is a code to enter the building and a callbox with a camera where you can see whos at the door and buzz them in without giving them a code. There is a tiny closet type locked mail room which is great for package safety, there is also an outside mailbox for envelope size mail. There is a small corridor where packages are left too. Elevator is very convenient.
Cons:
Heat is through individual A/Cs which can be very drying and sometimes a bit musty. Newly gentrified area so most locals/neighbors don’t like this building as its the most recent and luxury one around. There are a few night venues nearby but it won’t keep you up at night. Management is terrible, they will not respond and not take care of anything. They are disrespectful to women and mean who are not of their religion. Trash service was terrible, the garbage man would leave trash in the elevator. Fruit fly problem but this might have just been my individual apartment’s problem. I do want to emphasize that I did feel safe happy and warm (i have a lot of anxiety normally) in this building but it could have been handled better by management for the price and the quality of the building. Some a.h. from the business next door/downstairs will park their car and block the side walk, please feel free to report them to the police and get them towed if they’re still doing it, they are not entitled to the space, the driveway is reserved for uhauls when you’re moving in/out etc. they were sketchy about returning the security deposit and took a while.
Advice to owner:
Respond to the residents when they ask for something and be more respectful of people regardless of their gender or religion. Take care of the garbage man, this building is too expensive to make residents feel uncomfortable with trash issues. Talk to that horrible business that rented the ground floor and ask them to stop parking on the sidewalk. Clean the A/C filters before a resident moves in, really make sure its cleaned thoroughly.

Beware of rent increase
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cool apartments and outdoor spaces. Close to L train.
Cons:
Rent was raised over 50% with less than a month notice! Beware. Building is next to a creepy motel and the street can be secluded at night.

Lobby, elevator, hallway floors are rarely cleaned. The kids who work selling door to door downstairs have access to all of the building codes for some reason. These same kids like to leave their garbage in lobby and elevator. Sometimes packages go missing
Advice to owner:
Good luck with the rent increase on this side of Williamsburg. Please give the few remaining tenants a letter of notice so they can actually prepare
