Pretty bad, avoid

Pros:
Unit is updated (w/d in unit, dishwasher, freshly painted walls). That's about it
Cons:
Pests galore. Cockroaches infested in our place (and we're on the fifth floor). Terribly loud neighbors - everyone has pets and dogs bark like crazy. This building is in the WORST location - it's across the street from a car wash and autobody shop, and less than two blocks away from a joint police and fire department. The sirens blare throughout the entire day. Management is incompetent; they are impossible to get ahold of. The trash area next door is rat infested. Do yourself a favor and do not live here.

Pros:
There are very few pros about this building.
Cons:
The apartment has rats living in the walls which can be heard during all times of the day, especially at night when they are most active. This makes it very difficult to sleep in many units. There have also been routine reports of roaches and bedbugs in other units since I moved in.
Advice to owner:
Building should be condemned

Cons:
We saw the occasional mouse, but feel like that's fairly common.

Easy Access to trains. Location.
Cons:
Pests. Rats, BED BUG situation, moths, roaches.
Advice to owner:
Be more proactive about pests and follow up with residents on maintenance issues

Washer/Dryer in units, responsive superintendent
Cons:
The entire building is absolutely filthy. We can't throw garbage away in the receptacle area without getting attacked by rats, there are roaches every where in the building and the units, rats come into the building and into units, the building common areas reek of rot, packages get stolen all the time, and random residents of the building buzz every single unit at very odd hours of the day to get let into the building. It is disgusting, chaotic, and very unkempt.

Roaches and unresponsive super

Pros:
Apartment amenities were nice (stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer in-unit, wood floors, crown moldings)
Cons:
-roaches!!! my neighbors were not cleanly and it attracted roaches and other crawling creatures
-owned by a money-hungry management company
-the super was TERRIBLE at responding to issues; he had his phone on “do not disturb” mode all the time
-noise travels very easily through the door to the apartment; can hear everything going on in the hallway
-one of the residents frequently stood by the door to the building and leered at the young women coming and going
Advice to owner:
Get a new super and invest in pest control services
