Dirty, noisy, and management is dishonest - leaking roofs on all floors
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location near subway and grocery store next door
Cons:
It’s dirty and it’s as though the landlord doesnt care about maintaining the building. The stairs and hallways are so dirty that you’ll be hard pressed to let even a pet’s paws walk on them. There are literally piles of dust and dirt that have accumulated. It looks like the floor hasn’t been swept or mopped in years. Additionally management is very unresponsive and misleading. There is so much more I could say but I’m worried about being too specific and risk being identified. Suffice to say that repairs that were supposed to be taken care of before we moved in weren’t completed, and in several months there were aspects of our kitchen and bathroom we still couldn’t use. Also there is no recycling here… and oftentimes if tenants try to recycle then it blows in the street or on the sidewalk.
We have complained, as have other tenants, about leaking in our building. The management has not responded. Our building is flooding.
Advice to owner:
Take care of your property and demonstrate you care about the well being of your tenants, which includes not only promptly responding but also following through on your responses.
RESPOND TO YOUR TENANTS AND CARE ABOUT THEIR WELL BEING, or at least your PROPERTY
