Management doesn’t care
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near a subway
Cons:
Management responded promptly but didn’t care about our problems and lacked any urgency to help us resolve. Had situations that compromised our safety and nothing was done to help us
Advice to owner:
Help your tenants

Run the other way, you will be sharing your apartment with hoards of roaches
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartment was spacious, lots of light and windows
Cons:
The cockroach infestation was mind-blowing, and that is immediately upon move-in! Horrifying- hundreds of bugs found dead and alive daily. Got out of the lease quickly, but didn't get all of our money back, it was an AWFUL experience.

lived here for 3 years
Former Tenant
Pros:
- big windows
- newly renovated
- great tenants the first year
- newer finishes in the units (air conditioning, dishwasher, stove)
Cons:
- roaches; lots and lots of them
- thin walls
- a lot of families moved in starting the second year here; kids running up and down the stairwell through the day and night
- can hear kids screaming through the day and night
- can hear upstairs neighbors and neighbors next door through the day and night
- communal laundry; sometimes a washer/dryer set is out of order and takes a while for them to repair it
- no phone # to contact management; only an email, and they take a long time to respond
- electric stove
Advice to owner:
not worth the price they're marketing it at now

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Looks very modern from the outside
- Apartment itself looks pretty nice with floor to ceiling windows
Cons:
There is a tenant that blasts music at 2 am which can be heard throughout the entire apartment. Management is the biggest nightmare you will ever see. They tried to double lease our apartment without telling us because we were moving out early but still paying the remaining duration of our lease. We only found out by chance. They are extremely unresponsive until you threaten them with not paying rent and don't upkeep their building at all. Trust me when I say you will regret living here.
Advice to owner:
Stop making peoples lives miserable

terrible but big windows
Former Tenant
Pros:
big windows, bathrooms are nice
Cons:
barely any kitchen counters, terrible neighbors (noise levels are high morning to night; hallways and bathrooms smell like weed), lots of roaches (at least 2 every week), management is TERRIBLE AT RESPONDING (even called me dramatic for complaining about my neighbors); doesn’t feel safe in this neighborhood
Advice to owner:
be more responsive and respectful to your tenants; more frequent cleaning of the building; stop lying about moving neighbors out when you’re not planning to

worst building ever lived in
Former Tenant
Pros:
proximity to L train
Cons:
endless bad bug infestations, paper thin walls, can hear above, beside, below apartments 24/7, loud street, dirty interiors, dirty exterior front and back, poorly managed waste, shoddy construction with significant gaps in wall/floorboard/floor construction - not good with bug problem, moldy smells

Landlords are MONSTERS and building infested
Former Tenant
Pros:
High ceilings
Central air
Great bathrooms
Cons:
Rats dying in walls
Multiple floods caused by landlord neglect
Bldg wasn’t cleaned posted renovation and the work wasn’t complete.
It doesn’t feel safe. We were not provided with keys - so everybody and their mother can come in. Packages are constantly stolen. Poorly run building and it’s a shame it could be so nice. Rats dying and decaying in the walls.
Advice to owner:
Don’t be garbage and treat your tenants with the respect and consideration you would want.

Apathetic property management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Proximity to train
Heating/cooling
Cons:
Rodent infested
Fire exit door locked
Management doesn’t address problems
They suck very much
Former Tenant
Pros:
New construction high ceilings enough full baths in each unit
Cons:
No response and now they raise rent almost 2k across the board to everyone cause they said covid is over : they do nothing but care about money : they treat their own property like shit
Advice to owner:
Be nice to people and show some interest in keeping YOUR building in shape and not be so cheap in your repairs as at the end of the day it will only cost you more to keep it here
Over 2 years ago
Horrible management responsiveness
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice fixtures, lots of space
Cons:
Management never gets back to you about anything. The apartment was built very cheaply. Super dodges our calls. They never cleaned up from the original construction
