Slum Lord Yehudah Miller
Former Tenant
Pros:
Less than half a block from the L train Harrison Pl exit at Morgan stop. Places to eat close by. 24 hour grocery 1 block away.
Cons:
You will pay a fortune in heating and it won’t even heat the entire place. There is no broiler because the landlord had it taken out. I didn’t realize it was illegal until a friend suggested I call the department of buildings. The heaters provided are gas and the pipe it comes from is exposed.
The water pressure sucks and the water turns everything in the shower orange. The tub never drains properly.
Any repairs are always done improperly and on the cheap. And untimely. Once the heavy cabinets almost came off the walls and a friend had to cut 4x4s to prop them up.
The hallway is never cleaned.
Usually a lot of construction happening across the street or nearby.
The windows aren’t properly insulated. Flies and mosquitoes in the summer months.
High turn over with neighbors who leave after they figure things out.
