A complete lack of awareness
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building itself is alright. It's on a not-too loud street. There is a backyard available for the first-floor apartment. The neighbors are fine - I had no complaints about the other tenants.
Cons:
Our apartment was not finished on move in. We had severe issues communicating with management and getting them to fix our apartment and complete cleaning. Management is your typical clueless, vacuous, cruel, and apathetic landlord, and they will ignore you if you have legitimate complaints.
Advice to owner:
Your tenants are human goddamn beings, and you can't treat people like little miniature piggy banks you can break on a whim. Learn how to communicate with people, and especially take a gander at NY housing law while you're at it, because clearly you haven't the faintest clue what tenants' rights are.

Pretty quiet building and the super does a great job with keeping it clean.
Cons:
not sure if it’s changed but response time with landlord/management company was slow.
