Sweet little corner in bushwick
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartment is gated (not locked though) with some space outside for garbage and packages. 2nd floor apartment has direct access to the outside, no shared hallway, just an indoor staircase to the inside, which I think was a nice touch. Uniquely shaped living room, with lots of windows. Bedrooms decently sized, and one of them has a staircase in the closet to the roof. The roof is really nice and pretty private. The bathroom is very nice, if your roommates actually keep it clean. Location is amazing, its immediately next to the M train, 24hr delis across the street, many coffee shops, clubs/bars, and food places nearby, even a taco truck across the street. Because of the clubs/bars the area always has people around so it feels safer at night. Never saw mice or roaches, just flies in the summer time.
Cons:
window AC unit broke within the first few weeks of usage, and it barely cooled the bedrooms, just the living room. The toilet is a bit wonky and will continuously run water unless you tap the flush button twice (doesnt overflow though). Due to it being so close to the M train there is a lot of subway noise, but you get used to it. Dont buy weed from the deli across the street.
