Started out great - landlord refuses extermination services

Pros:
super responsive management, great neighbors, and the location is perfect - near transportation, bars, music venues, and on top of one of the best restaurants in the area
Cons:
the street activity can be a little much but it has nothing to do w the building or its management
UPDATE: While management is great, landlord refuses to call in an actual exterminator. Dismisses concerns as "gossip," is expressly displeased when tenants communicate with one another, I've received texts from him directing me to not speak at all to potential new tenants (while real estate agents are beating down my door showing the apartment before I vacated), but worst of all the landlord has ignored a hazardous German Roach infestation. Building super is great, but not a profressional exterminator. It's not his job. The roach problem and landlord's incessant texts and threats and refusal to take care of it is why I left after 2 years.
Advice to owner:
I think there should be slightly heightened action on making sure appliances work, are up to date.
UPDATE - Get an exterminator, building's nasty, stop sending insane texts to tenants. xoxo
