DO NOT LIVE HERE

Pros:
You're close to the M train and the L train. If you like bars, theres a few that are close by.
Cons:
This building should be shut down by the city and landlord should be fined and sued. The bottle floor where they rent out bedrooms and where the laundry is FLOODS. And not spring water, this is dirty city water from the sewer. The price for the apartments are insanely high and the building maintenance is below par.

We rented our apartment, the landlord didn't have the place cleaned or painted. When we wrote in to inquire why the place wasn't clean, he threatened to kick us out and end our lease and we hadn't even moved in. Which is illegal!!!!
We paid $300 to have someone come in and professionally clean the place.

The maintenance guy is a drunk who's half blind, who did not do his job. The front door slams shut, the laundry room smells like mold and damp dirty underwear AND you need quarters to use the laundry LOL! You will have a ton of spiders coming out of everywhere.

I don't want to leave out the horrible service from Nooklyn. They should be responsible for bringing this slumlord tenants.

Our apartment flooded 4 times. FOUR TIMES! The landlord left us to clean up filthy water that was back flow from the city. All of our things were destroyed and when we reached out for help we were met with a gaslighting landlord who did not do anything to help something that was out of our hands. We had to hire people to come in and do a job he should have done. It took us going to the city before he agreed to abate the water damage. We had mold growing within days!!!!!!!!!!!

He then went on to terrorize us and threatened to end our lease and go into screaming matches with us on the street. All of his communication by email and text wasn't legible and caused so much confusion. I had to spend countless hours talking to lawyers and filed 4 different cases with the city.
Do not rent this location, or this landlord -- they are the worst!

I'm still not okay after dealing with his experience and if I can help someone, anyone to not go thru what we went thru I will feel way better. Please please please do not move here or deal with FOUR HIMROD LLC. Frauds.
Advice to owner:
I'm writing this review because we got a text message from you by accident about flooding the same apartment. Which means you rented this place out again!! You should get into another profession! You're not a nice person and you do not care about humans!
