Avoid at all costs

Pros:
It was in a good location
Cons:
We didn't have hot water for 1.5 months and got ignored repeatedly for that
Black mold in the apartment that wasn't addressed
Large holes in the walls for 8+ months (only got patched up to do showings)
Mice and cockroaches (normal I guess tho)
Not getting security deposit returned
Advice to owner:
They do not care about the tenants. Even with this myriad of issues they did not do any renovations or improvements and still raised rent by $1,000. Not having hot water for over a month and a half was brutal and still we are not getting a security deposit back.

Pros:
I guess the rooftop is a perk, but does not make up for how terrible this building is is.
Cons:
The building is dirty and smells wet and moldy, black mold in the windows, landlords response is slow, virtual doorman failed repeatedly so locked outside, laundry room disgusting and sometimes machines do not work. Poor management, we did not get our security deposit back even though we reached out multiple times asking for a justifiable reason.
Advice to owner:
Take care of your building and take care of your tenants.

Literally nothing aside from it being a place to live.
Cons:
Horrible management and horrible super, save your money and don’t count on your security deposit being returned

Pros:
Rooftop if I had to pick something
Cons:
Terrible moldy smell in hallway, unresponsive management, buzzer has never worked, laundry has never worked, improper mail set up
Advice to owner:
Please listen and RESPOND to tenants
