Not the worst, not the best.
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments are affordable and spacious. The landlord is quick to respond to general maintenance issues (ie: fixing something that isn’t working). The neighbors are chill.
Cons:
The building is a bit run down and needs some work. My apartment has not been painted between tenants and wasn’t cleaned before we moved in. The man who in charge of cleaning the building only ever came once or twice a year and did a TERRIBLE job. During the winter, the heat only ever came on twice a day which resulted it being very cold. We had to invest in space heaters.
Advice to owner:
Make sure you are cleaning apartments between tenants and have your “porter” man do a better job of keeping the shared areas (hallways, garbage area outside) clean.
