Awesome until it wasn’t
Former Tenant
Pros:
•Packages were never stolen
•Clean and seemingly well kept building
•Always felt safe and comfortable
•Neighborhood is pretty good— lots of food options, night life, stores, and miscellaneous places in walking distance.
Cons:
•Mold in walls of my apt (found out I had bad mold poison).
•Typically maintenance was decent, but covered up the mold. Wasn’t interested in fixing the root issue. Also, management seemed to be disconnected from maintenance, which was very boggling.
•Drastically increased rent ($825 to $1175), and room wasn’t worth it.
- to note that the total price for the apartment at this time was $3525 for 4 people, but was split between 3 because one roommate left and management seemed to not be interested in allowing another person sign on the lease (even after we found multiple great candidates who met all criteria). This caused the three of us to pay 1175.

Nice apartment.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is typically clean, neighbors are typically quiet. To my knowledge no one package has been stolen (if it is sitting inside the building). Actually, I would stay here , but I am starting to get too many belongings and need to space out. I would even say it is a hidden gem in Brooklyn (well my particular apt).
Cons:
Management is unprofessional and typically are deceptive. This could be really bad for someone if they are placed in an apartment in the building that is not well kept and constantly has issues.

Barely Acceptable
Former Tenant
Pros:
The Room sizes weren’t bad and the top floor has double high ceilings. Laundry in building as well.
Cons:
The building is aging and they are struggling to manage water damage. The new management as of Sept. 2021 is trying to be better at all around maintenance, but they consistently fail to get things done in a timely manner.
Advice to owner:
Be more involved and don’t let the management company with 30+ buildings try and do everything. The bigger these companies get the faster the quality of the experience goes down.
