Actual Shithole, Don’t Live Here
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s close to the J train, and it does provide basic shelter. There are four walls, and a roof.
Cons:
Everything else. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbor chewing, rodents in the walls and infesting the first floor, horrible management that doesn’t fix urgent issues like visible mold, broken plumbing, or rusted fire escapes, and price gauging despite all of these issues. Not to mention the state of the basement and front entranceway, which is completely covered in garbage and vermin.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants like people

It takes awhile for maintenance to respond.

Quicker response times would be helpful.
