It’s Alright For a Family of Two or Three
Former Tenant
Pros:
I like that this building only has two floors, so accessing my apartment is pretty easy and convenient. I also like that we get a decent amount of lighting and good amount of heat.
Cons:
I don’t like that the apartment itself is too small, the bedrooms are small and are only meant to fit one person each, there are no hallways to separate rooms inside (only doorways), the doors are messed up and don’t close all the way or properly for both bedrooms and the bathroom, there’s mold in the bathroom, and the apartment overall needs some serious renovation. The building can be irritating when it comes down to the outside doorbell: there is no specific apartment numbers on the doorbell machine outside, so people and delivery services tend to just ring any doorbell, including mine, even if the visitor or the package is meant for someone else. I often times go to open the door, thinking a package is for me but it’s for a neighbor who didn’t get the memo because of the ambiguous doorbells. Also, there are lots of rodents. One last thing: the neighbors outside of the building get pretty loud at any time of the day, so it’s difficult to concentrate on important tasks.
Advice to owner:
Please fix the doorbells: add the specific apartment numbers instead of just “1,2,3,4” so that people can stop ringing the wrong one. Also, the apartments need renovation and an exterminator needs to make a visit.
