Mental health in the renting world
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is kept very clean and most importantly pest and rodent free.
Cons:
There an awful resident in this building who might unfortunately be suffering from a mental disorder. He tends to be excessively noisy and inconsiderate of neighbors. Maintenance is very hard to reach, although once they are finally aware of a problem they act promptly to resolve it; it’s just a pain to actually get in contact with a person at times.
Advice to owner:
Ensure that all tenants are able to enjoy their residence free of harassment from mentally ill tenants. Manage all phone lines so tenants can reach the necessary help.
