High ceilings, low quality
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pre war apt so rooms are large, ceilings are high.
Cons:
Full of mice and roaches, horrible maintenance of building, building grounds and Apts. Every super they hire sucks, gets fed up because they only hire one for over 30 Apts & eventually they quit. Landlords are money hungry and quick to take you to court despite never making necessary repairs. There's loitering in the lobby at most times throughout the day, loud music. People smoking, drinking and dealing d*ugs. They Chen the building once a month & I know this because I work from home.
Advice to owner:
Do pop up visits to the property. Speak to the tenants. Stop badgering them for money before doing your part. Hire more support with the building.

126 E 53rd st 11203 is the correct address
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large apartments and rooms. Good water pressure (when there is water)
Cons:
Horrible money hungry management. Every super this building gets (3 different ones in 4 yrs) is Horrible & do not know how to do anything. No repairs are made until you threaten to go to court multiple times. RODENTS! there is an ongoing rat, roach & mouse problem here. Young kids hanging in the hallways smoking, drinking and being LOUD! very unsafe.
Advice to owner:
Send security. Lower rent rates to match the standards of the space.
