Every man for themselves
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap rent compared to market
Cons:
Slum lords. Rent to unruly tenants. Look elsewhere
Advice to owner:
Invest in your building with the money from tenants and the voucher programs that line your pockets. That mean pest control, better garbage area, cleaning and sanitizing the building often, upgrade cheap boilers and thermostats, update wiring - lights always blow and flicker. Screen tenants or at least establish a package room so the ghettos don’t take people parcels instead of trying to house over night day care and medical centers that are gone before the year ends each year.
