Enjoyed my life here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
I loved the apartment itself, the location, the price, the fact that it’s rent stabilized, and all the sun that came in through the windows.
Cons:
The super was friendly, but would only show up four hours later than he said he would, AND only if you harassed him with texts and phone calls for those four hours. Management difficult to deal with. Some pest issues in the building and management not very responsive or helpful on that issue or any others. The broker they started using was super sketchy.
Advice to owner:
Have better follow through in maintenance issues.

Even pro+con list
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good heat and water pressure.
Great location.
Kind neighbors, the guy who cleaned and oversaw trash was the nicest.
Cons:
Pipes backed up and flooded my apartment and caused the ceiling beneath my unit to cave in (in the lobby). Since it was Saturday, neither the management or super were available until Monday.
I killed about 1-3 roaches a week in my unit in my two years there. Pest control was Monday’s during the day, so if you had a job you were unable to let them in.
Rent paid via check and never cashed until the 20th of the month.
Advice to owner:
Start fixing and updating the building, not just quickly patching issues or ignoring them.
