BEWARE: Do not rent from CW realty
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nothing was good about this place
Cons:
Roach infestation problem Security deposit hassle from the CW realty management group (sent us a check that bounced due to them having insufficient funds) - loud neighbors and loud street - central AC Installation did not work well - one room was super hot and the other super cold
Advice to owner:
Please take better care of your tenants

Do NOT rent from here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location was close to the 2/5 trains and close to the park.
Cons:
Do NOT rent from this company!!! We had a TON of roach problems in our apartment, and when we left, it took them 2 weeks to mail us back our security deposit (even though we'd sent it to them electronically to start with). When we FINALLY got the deposit, the check bounced. We went to the address for the bank listed on the check, and it is a ping pong place -- not even a real bank. They claimed this never happens, and we shouldn't have an issue going forward. We went to the office afterwards and tried to demand a cashier's check to ensure we would get our money back, and they refused. It then took our bank a week to clear the check because they'd had the issues with the check the previous time. All in all, a HELL of a lot of hassle and it took us about 1.5 months to finally get our security deposit back. That, on top of the roach problems and uncommunicative management -- do NOT rent from here!
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants better, be more responsive and send security deposits back in a timely manner.

Don’t live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to prospect park. Good restaurants in the area
Cons:
Moved into an apartment with a ton of problems that were never fixed. Super was extremely unresponsive. I had to call him out on him saying he was going to come tomorrow to fix stuff and then would never come. Neighbors were extremely loud and left garbage all over the building and the management company didn’t care. Had to deal with a fly infestation in the building. Leaks and water damage all over the building. Also front door was constantly broken or left open by neighbors so my packages would get stolen and just over all a safety issue.

The worst place to rent in NYC
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nothing is good here.
Cons:
Noisy neighbors- they threatened to break in to retaliate. Internet is slow and only optimum is available in this neighborhood and it disconnects every now and then The owner or management is never there and you can never get in contact with the super. They will not do anything for you and won’t respond to any complaints.
Advice to owner:
Please take care of your building and the tenants who live there. It shows that you don’t care and the building is falling apart. Noise is out of control and neighbors are violent and confrontational. You do nothing to help. Do better.
