Flatwood Llc is an evil corporation
Former Tenant
Pros:
Wonderful neighbors and a good location
Cons:
Owners/mgmt are awful and dishonest (what's new?)-- to the point of actually putting resident lives in danger because of negligence. The 6th-floor roof is caving in; we've had building-wide floods, the boiler is always out, the elevator never works, and it is very dangerous when it does, and every individual apartment has had water leaks and gas leaks. Highly suggest you look elsewhere but where? These LLCs own everywhere. Rent at your own risk, i guess
Advice to owner:
"Izzy Jackson", "Mike/Moti Spira" , Anita and all the slumlords at flatwood llc should remember that humans live here

Excellent location, godawful management and maintenance
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location in Flatbush/PLG, big pre-war apartments and lots of long-term residents.
Cons:
The elevator is ALWAYS out of service, and there's only one for a 60+ unit building. in July 2021 the elevator was out for almost a month with little to no communication from management about the status of repairs.
Lack of communication is a huge problem in general -- the super, though nice, never puts up notices when repairs (ie to the boiler, to a floor that might cut off water to another apartment) are being done, the management is often hauty and disrespectful.
The windows haven't been replaced in years so they are extremely leaky, and scaffolding was put up (without notice) months ago but no work has been done.
Advice to owner:
Be better. Respect your tentants.

Nice neighborhood and very close to prospect park. Super was responsive
Cons:
Constant package stealing, extremely loud neighbors, ceiling leaked quite a few times
