Do not rent here.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful space with great light & great location, if you can stand to work with the scum of the earth.
Cons:
An absolutely terrible experience front to back with this landlord. No heat, no AC, no pest control, and slapdash construction in this "fresh remodel" that was absolutely only done to jack up rent.. it looked like we were getting a sweet deal, but we absolutely did not. Landlord refuses to answer texts or calls for ANY reason and cannot be reached unless 311 gets involved. We literally froze under 10-degree temps in the apartment and he could still not be assed to pick up the phone. There are more than 100 311 strikes against him FOR A REASON... I'm really looking forward to living out the rest of my lease with ear-splitting construction noise and music so loud it shakes our floors, not to mention the constant screaming in the stairwell. Not worth any of the more than 3K we spend a month to live here.. RENT ELSEWHERE.
Advice to owner:
Perish

Landlords should be ashamed
Former Tenant
Pros:
Friendly neighbors, great bustling location.
Cons:
Slumlord landlords. Left huge violations open and frequently left the building with no heat or hot water. They wanted to purposely cycle through tenants to push the building out of rent stabilization so that they could sell it for more money.
Advice to owner:
Please find a different profession.

Avoid renting here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management is responsive to building issues but that’s it!
Cons:
Did not get my deposit back after moving and owner has not returned my calls/texts. A water pipe broke while construction was being done in apartment above mine and my bathroom flooded but I had to clean it and they left the wall (where water was gushing out of) as is. Also construction related, the back window broke because of a plank they threw down, notified the owner and was not fixed even through the winter. Noisy neighbor that blasted music early morning hours and most times throughout the day. Had to leave the apartment at times because music was so loud.
