not bad but not good
Former Tenant
Pros:
the building itself is always very clean. the super works very hard and maintains a clean building. he’s very responsive and helps with any problems in a concise manner. neighborhood is mostly quiet and chill.
Cons:
there are roaches. our apartment was infested and although exterminators came every month, it didn’t work and we had to solve the problem on our own. it’s a very old building so there can be issues with water in the walls and certain things falling apart.
Advice to owner:
please get an exterminator for the entire building, the roaches are really bad.

Buyer beware if Miller Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is very nice. He does a good job of maintaining the cleanliness of the building and taking out the trash. The neighbors are also very friendly.
Cons:
The apartments are poorly insulated and the management does not provide adequate heat. During winter months I had to seal the windows with plastic coverings and heat the apartment with the oven (even though this is clearly dangerous). Pests (mice and roaches) was a serious issue. In fact, the roaches were so bad that I had to hire an exterminator. I also know several people in the building that had bed bugs. Management is not responsive at all and the owner Howard Miller does not want to fix any issues in the apartment. He clearly sees this building as a business and he tries to minimize his costs and refuses to fix anything because of the costs.
