AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Former Tenant
Pros:
The only pros about this apartment is the size and fact that there is only one upstairs neighbor in the whole building.
Cons:
Where do I begin. The property manager/ owner is the worst landlord I’ve ever encountered. The apartment is incest in bugs and mice, which he refuses to take care of. We did not have working heat unfortunately the first few weeks of winter, which was only resolved after TWO 311 cases were opened against him regarding the lack of heat. The radiators are so old they leak all over the floor, which he refuses to fix. Leaky sinks, broken outlets, broken windows; basically anything you can think of was a problem at one point and had to be fixed by the tenant. Management is also very shady when it comes to giving back security deposits.
Advice to owner:
Truly I would avoid him at any and all costs but if you have the misfortune of being sign onto one of his properties, documents everything and make sure to have proof of all interacts. Request walk through a the beginning and end of lease to asses damages. And don’t be afraid to go to the city if you need to.

For the owner, find a new career path because you are terrible at property management.
