Full of pests
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments were spacious
Cons:
Save yourself! This building has *chronic* pest issues including bud bugs!! I’m talking all kinds of pests: roaches, mice, and over the course of 5 years in this building I had bed bugs 4 times!!! I know you’re thinking that it almost sounds impossible but it’s true. The issue is every time I managed to eradicate them with the help of a pest company, they would come back because other neighbors in the building would never manage to get rid of them! The last exterminator told me that one of the infested apartments had so much furniture that they would never be able to get rid of them. That’s when I knew I had to move (you’d think I’d have done that sooner). Oh also, the boiler goes out all the time so hot water is unreliable and so is heat. There was one Thanksgiving weekend where we didn’t have heat for the entire holiday weekend. This building also gets passed on from owner to owner because no one wants to actually fix all the issues. The week I was moving out (finally) I got a knock on my door from a man who handed me a piece of paper informing me that there were new building owners and for any issues I should email xxxx@yahoo.com ….ummm no thanks. So glad to be out of this garbage hole.
Advice to owner:
Demolish this building for the good of humanity.

The Building Managament Is Some Of The Worse I’ve Ever Seen

One Of The Worst Places To Live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nothing At All.
Cons:
The Building Has Cameras & Neighbors Still Steal Packages, Anything You Lose In The Building Will Be Stolen & Never Returned.

The Superintendent Wife Instigates Friction Between Neighbors.

Infested With Rats, Roaches, Mice, Bedbugs & Flies.

Every Month The Boiler Breaks Down, So There’s A Good Chance The Building Doesn’t Have Hot Water.

The Rent Is So High But The Apartments Aren’t Fully Renovated & There’s No Elevator.

Tiles Have Spaces That Lead To Nest From Roaches, Hiding Places For Mice & No matter How Much The Apartment Is Fumigated, Bedbugs & Roaches Will Not Leave.

The Building Is So Filthy That Families of Flies Gather At The Entrance of The Building & Fly Into Apartments At An Alarming Rate.

Building Management Harasses For Rent But Won’t Address Any of The Issues
Advice to owner:
COVID-19 Should Have Been A Reminder To Maintain Your Property Much More Efficiently. This Is Not 1980 we should not be living like this & for this much amount of money for rent !
