You get what you pay for
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is nice.
Cons:
Spiders. Lots and lots of spiders. And there is an incessant hanging that happens in the winter below the radiator. It wakes you up in the middle of the night and it’s loud and can range from 5~30min at a time of just straight banging. It sounds like a sweatshop below.
Advice to owner:
This place sucks.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Super is attentive, walls are thick, proximity to subway & prospect park are clutch. My apt is large and well laid out. Rent stabilized.
Cons:
Nothing worth noting.
Advice to owner:
Keep doing what you’re doing.

Read thoroughly and make sure your apt has what mine doesn't
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighbors, allows dogs, high ceilings, the floors are nice looking even though chunks of flooring are missing.
Cons:
-I see on average a cockroach a day. -The exterminator comes at random times and you just have to be home on the random day he knocks on the door. In the 4 months I've lived here I've seen him once, and I work from home. -There are no fire or carbon monoxide alarms in any room. - We tried to install pendant lights. We took out the light fixtures and noticed that nothing was screwed safely in place. The wires were haphazardly connected with no bracket *its just a hole in the ceiling, with nothing to screw into the plaster) so we can't install our own light fixtures. -There were giant holes in the construction underneath both sinks. We had to cover them with masking tape to combat the roach problem. -There are no bug screens on any of the windows, management ignored any mention of that. There are very few outlets in thr apartment. -the oven stopped working randomly.
I gave 3 stars for heating but I only did that bc thiss app didn't allow me to continue without rating the hearing. However, I moved here in the spring, so I haven't experienced heating yet.
Advice to owner:
Please give us bug screens for the windows, a set time that the exterminator comes, fire alarms and carbon monoxide alarms.
