Decent Price, Not Great Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Proximity to the park, size of main bedroom, elevator, access to building
Cons:
Pests (including rats, mice, roaches, and bedbugs). Rent Is a bit high with not many new renovations.

Spacious apartment, bad management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very large remodeled and spacious layouts with nice stainless steel appliances. Very affordable for the space you get. Location is very close to Prospect Park, which is great.
Cons:
Very dirty and not well maintained building. All class of pests in the building and management won't do anything about it. They are not responsive and do a terrible job at fixing things.
Advice to owner:
Please take care of your buildings if you don't want to keep losing good tenants. The building has so much potential.

OK
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large space. Super has responded quickly to any request. Haven't had any major issues. Pretty quiet on my floor at least. Good heat and water.
Cons:
Cockroaches. Not a ton because I keep stuff clean, but they're definitely here. No rats inside building from what I've seen, but my view is literally of a rat infested courtyard. To make matters worse, a couple people throw their trash into the courtyard for no damn reason. It's your standard rent stabilized old-school building. The main office is IMPOSSIBLE. Tashay doesn't know heads from tails.
Advice to owner:
Clean up the damn courtyard.

Big apartments, poorly maintained building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator that worked 99% of the time, big apartments
Cons:
A fire in the building ruined the water for the entire length of our lease, the ceiling in the bedroom leaked, the water was turned off regularly. The radiators were INSANE and were super loud and very powerful - had to leave the windows open all winter.

A Renter's Nightmare.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Proximity to the park and other shops and services
Cons:
The landlord is absent. When I moved in, him/his company used to manage the property tried charging me over the amount that was agreed to in the lease. The apartment has electrical issues in the bathroom and structural issues in the living room that were never fixed. Water is turned off at random without warning. When you stop paying rent, you have a chance of a response. Very few people in this building are clean, the super is stretched thin between managing at least 3 buildings. Neighbors are loud with parties until 3-4a, and will smoke in their apartments and in the hallways. Fighting often breaks out in front of the building. Package thieves about, but nothing is done about them. Cameras in place but potentially not working. It has been hell living here and I am so glad to be able to get out. You will not get your deposit back.
Advice to owner:
Start being a responsible landlord about your properties and the people in them. If you're going to give the bare minimum then you better be ready to charge the bare minimum as well.
