A decent place to be 95% of the time
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is clean and pet-friendly. The location is great -- the neighborhood is vibrant and Prospect Park is within 2 minutes of walk.
Cons:
For non-trivial issues (e.g., not fixable by replacing simple parts), the management is often very slow. Past examples involving leakage, trespassing, or failing appliances require active and persistent follow-up.

Like this little block
Former Tenant
Pros:
Recently renovated, central heat & air, rent stabilized. Nice people in the building, close to the park.
Cons:
Apt will flood if it’s rains too much too fast, utilities are high, even though rent stabilized, have used rent concessions to keep rent lower and then try to raise it all at once.
Advice to owner:
Don’t Jack up rent for tenants…

Nice rent-stabilized building, owner slow on maintainance
Former Tenant
Pros:
Renovated building with heat pump hot water and HVAC. Your electricity bill will be low. Neighbors are nice.
Cons:
Maintenance requests are done on the app but seems like they take forever to be dealt with. Fireworks during summer can be annoying especially if you have a dog.
Advice to owner:
Respond to maintenance requests more promptly
