Looks can be deceiving.
Former Tenant
Pros:
I like that it's close to public transportation (at least 2 buses and trains are within walking distance). Also, some of the neighbors are quite friendly.
Cons:
I don't like the rodents and pests. There is typically an exterminator that comes by every few months, and they offer to spray out apartments + offer rat traps. But like clockwork, the pests and rodents always (ALWAYS) come back. (Expect to spend a chunk of your earnings on pest control to keep the little critters and bay.)
There's been constant issues with our building's front door. Often times the handle is jammed, so that allows anyone to walk in.
There have also been some issues with the heat during colder months. On random nights there was no heat coming through.
Advice to owner:
Please consider a new approach/ strategy for pest control.
