Decent building, great rent, if you are nice to the super he is nice back, helps
Former Tenant
Pros:
Huge apartments, elevator typically works, laundry in basement
Cons:
It always feels dirty, some residents leave trash or food around sometimes, and smoke in the hallways. Lots of package theft.
Advice to owner:
Remove the tenants who are trashing the building.

Needs better management ASAP!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location Location Location Apartments are very large with lots of storage Pre war + elevator + laundry room Neighbors are lovely
Cons:
Super is useless. He’s supposed to be working onsite full time but has external general contracting jobs and he’s never working here. Ive been waiting two years for him to complete the painting of my kitchen ceiling after a leak. He regularly tells me “for you ill do you a favor and take care of it” when what needs to be handled is his actually his job. He’s very hard to understand and has 10 excuses for why something cant be done. Also Theres supposedly a tenant association but ive lived here 6 years and we’ve never had a meeting. We have a laundry room but it’s been closed for 2 years for no apparent reason.
The building could be cleaner but i must say it’s been exponentially better than it used to be. They need more staff. One porter isn’t enough for a building with 60 apartments. He works very hard but he’s only one person.
Elevator breaks down regularly
Although i haven’t had mice in my apartment, my neighbors do and recently one ran into the elevator in the middle of the day with me.
Advice to owner:
This building could be a real gem. You can tell that it used to be gorgeous. most of the neighbors are wonderful people. It just needs to be managed better and the super needs to be held accountable or replaced. At this point, i favor the latter.

Needs work done
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful lobby but that’s about it.
Cons:
-Elevator is always broken -Garbage is consistently piled up in trash room for days at a time -Floors are always dirty -Leaks running through the building -Took 1.5 years for the super to reopen the laundry room when it was only supposed to be closed for one day -Building infested with rats and roaches -Super takes forever to fix something in your apartment -currently the buzzer doesn’t work and has yet to be fixed
Advice to owner:
Hire better super and trash guy. Hire people who ACTUALLY CARE.
