Not the worst, but not the best
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap and close to the park
Cons:
The garbage rooms are disgusting and they have a really bad roach problem. Some of the apartments face courtyards that aren't clean and flood. The super and management are really slow to answer. And there has been a case of bedbugs in the last year.
Advice to owner:
Deep clean the garbage rooms

Don’t live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Massive amount of space
Cons:
Take your $$$ and live somewhere else. Noisy neighbors. Unresponsive super. Your packages will get stolen Bc everyone has access to the building.

Decent building/clean
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is pretty clean because the cleaning personnel does a very good job. Super is very fast at helping and coming to repair whatever is needed Building is rent stabilized, apartments pretty big and renovated. Landlord pretty responsive however not open when it comes to apartment improvements that cost them more money.
Cons:
A lot of people hanging out in front of the building or inside on the stairs smoking weed and drinking. On the cold days they hang on the stairs inside the building . Police obviously doesn’t do anything about it, and when I notified the super he said he can’t do anything, I need to call the police.
Advice to owner:
Loitering rules should be reinforced

Middle of the road
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pretty standard for an old building, fairly clean building, neighbors mostly families and respectful, working elevator, spray for bugs regularly. Lots of space in the apartments. Rent stabilized.
Cons:
Super not very responsive management owns next door building and he services both. Laundry only open 8am-6pm. Door locks always being tampered with by residents and intercom system doesn’t work.
