Decent building with some issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was mostly a nice, comfortable apartment
Cons:
There were some mice (which management responded to fairly quickly with pest control) and the radiator was very loud at times.

Large Complex in a Cute Neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
The janitorial team was great and did everything they could to keep the building clean, The neighborhood was great and close to the train, restaurants and groceries.
Cons:
A lot of the problems were related to the neighbors within the building since it was a very old building. Being on the first floor wasn't great as the people living in the building would hold gatherings right outside our window and would light fireworks year-round at night. The elevator would be broken often and the basement where the laundry room was had mice and roaches.

Room for Improvement
Former Tenant
Pros:
The upgrades made in the common areas are nice. The laundry room is open 24hrs.
Cons:
1. The management company is slow to respond to major repairs. 2. Packages are either marked as delivered and not delivered, or stolen. Track your packages and check by the mailboxes as carriers love to mark as “left in the mailroom”. FYI: There is NO mailroom!
Advice to owner:
Focus on tenant satisfaction instead of attempting to increase the rent!
