Started out nice but...

Pros:
Washer and dryer and dishwasher in unit.
Cons:
Found on roommates.com, Roaches and ants are also your roommates in this apartment. The people don't clean the kitchen behind themselves and have cats so food is left out often. Landlord did not hire an exterminator so buy your own traps! The main contact will love bomb and make you feel welcome in the beginning but cross him and he will threaten your security deposit because you didn't clean on his turn. When I got a promotion, I was suddenly asked to contribute to utilities when I hadn't had to do so for first 5 months. And when questioned, he changed the wifi password and spitefully told me it was because we weren't friends. Generally, unwelcoming feeling. He slams the door when I leave my room and is hostile in the group chat. The room offered is the hottest room in the house with 6ish windows. And the coldest in the winter for the same reason. Also the loudest, street side room. The radiator does not work. The landlord refused to mediate the issues with the main contact from roommates.com. Landlord said, according to contact, that A/C units would be put it and it never happened. Do not rent from them.
Advice to owner:
Make it clear to him that harassing people will just make them move out. Actually pay attention to how many people rotate in and out as their roommates.
