Lower rent for the area but old building with no major repairs
Pros
Good value for the location and amount of space. Mostly quiet building with families and mostly long term tenants. Minor repairs are addressed quickly by the super.
Cons
Elevator is out of order around 50% of the time and there's a pretty bad roach problem that comes and goes - when it's brought up the blame is placed on the tenants/neighbors. Management also somehow did not log my rent payment multiple times, getting my account credited correctly took ages, proof of payment sent multiple time, getting a letter from my bank, and finally threatening to report overcharges to the city, then they magically found the payments, unclear if it was an attempt to overcharge or just laughably bad accounting.
