Nice Building With Flaws
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartments are big. Lots of storage. Common areas are good and well kept. Overall good neighborhood. Good proximity to subway.
Cons:
Noise transference to above and below apartments is an ongoing problem. Neighbors are really a mixed bag. You could have a super-friendly family or could end up next to a tyrant who tries to drive you (+ your kids if you have them) out the building. The board are nice but toothless in these situations. Management company will send a letter but that's it.
Advice to owner:
Protect young families
