Nightmare since moving in
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighborhood is amazing. Nice view from the top floor and good location with a parking garage and laundry, however, laundry is hit or miss.
Cons:
The fact that there was no mention of pests, rodents, roaches and BEDBUGS, before we moved in. Had to be living with it since we moved in and we haven't even hit the 1 year mark yet. We are going on 7months now and see no improvement.... plus the neighbors could agree now. Also, huge roaches in the lobby area and garage with mice now, but living with bedbugs for 7 months tops it off. Since move in day, we only had about a month of peace until all hell broke loose and now and livelihood has been ruined. Very debilitating.
Advice to owner:
Get a responsive super who isn't so lazy and stop saying you will be fixing things when you are responsive after 6 months.

Never reported bed bugs
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighbors, well kept, clean, laundry in building, parking garage, nice landlord
Cons:
Bed bugs, building was WAY over heated in the winter (it was bad), super is hit or miss, laundry machines were always breaking, the garage space situation was confusing
Advice to owner:
Report what you need to legally report

Old building but nice people
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice super! The neighbors are quiet, the streets are pretty quiet too compared to other Brooklyn apartments I’ve been in.
Cons:
Super old building and could use a major gut and redo but I can see improvements once in a while.
Advice to owner:
Perhaps cleaning the halls and stairways more often. Also fixing things within a week not 4 months..or hire someone outside that knows how to if the super is too busy.
