Small subdivided house
Pros
The location was great, near the subway and a relatively nice library. The apartment did not have bugs or mice. First floor has access to the backyard which needed some TLC but would be great for someone who liked to garden.
Cons
Not a lot of natural light. Landlord living in the same building creates its own difficulties. The worst part was when the roof in the bathroom caved in and it took a long time before someone came in to fix it. There was no rent discount even though I was living without access to a shower until it was fixed.
