Don't rent this apartment unless you want to get scammed
The apartment is pretty spacious, and the building is fairly quiet since there are only two apartment units. Lots of built in storage.
Cons:
All of the appliances have seen much better days- the vent above the stove doesn’t work and 3 of the 4 burners don’t light on their own. The oven takes forever to heat up and will beep to say it is the right temperature but according to our thermometer will still be about 100 degrees too cool. The dishwasher is not anchored into the counter and will slip forward when you open it. It only washes the dishes on the bottom shelf. The windows let in a ton of cold air (I have mine taped shut to save warmth). The water temperature is super inconsistent. There is no working doorbell or buzzer to let people in to the building. However, all of these issues are completely manageable. The worst part about this rental is the owners. They are impossible to get ahold of when something is broken, despite their office being literally a block away, and when you do interact with them they are rude and disrespectful.
Advice to owner:
Update appliances and be more receptive to tenant feedback/questions
