Good neighborhood,close to the park

Pros:
Building super is attentive. Close to the F/G train
Cons:
Its an old building expect to encounter unwanted occupants.
Advice to owner:
More frequent pest control.

I had a homey + mostly positive experience with a few critical nuisances

Pros:
- super lives in the building and they (her and her family) were extremely helpful, respectful, prompt and kind whenever we were in need. By far the best super experience I've had.
- laundry room in the basement worked just fine and it was easy to access with the elevators
- one elevator was recently renovated/replaced which made a big difference
- our apartment was very large for a typical 1bed in NYC and had lots of sunlight
- garbage service was prompt (never had any issues which is great)
- recently installed bike room was very convenient and safe
Cons:
- unfortunately we had to deal with a mouse and an instance of bed bugs from a neighboring apartment. The former changed our perspective of the "older looking" apartment, while the latter happened right as we were moving out

Pros:
Location is great. Responsive superintendent in building.
Cons:
Dismissive and careless management. No investments into the building, and when they do it's from the 99 cents store. Some residents are old and angry.
Advice to owner:
If you want to attract then invest in the aesthetics.
