Apt would be fine if management gave a f**k
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location in the EV. Unit has a laundry machine (although it takes 4+ hours to wash/dry one load). Exposed brick in the unit is nice. Lots of young people in the building with only one grumpy older man.
Cons:
Avoid westminster management + Kushner buildings at all costs. They are so unresponsive for issues it’s absolutely ridiculous. We’ve had water leakage creating stains in the ceiling for months and now water has broken through in the hallway and all they’ve done is put a bucket under it. Bathrooms are grimy - no ventilation / fans don’t work. Building entrance door doesn’t automatically close = not safe + packages constantly stolen. Apartment is so ridiculously hot in the winter, you can’t turn down the heat at all and the apartment is so uncomfortable that we run our AC units year round. Can’t open windows because management won’t provide screens. They also lied on street easy about the rent that we signed.... sketchy.
Advice to owner:
Help your tenants when they need it. Improve problems in the apartment in a timely manner - don’t wait months. Actually be responsive when tenants need help. Just actually do your job as a property owner.
