Dirty, dangerous, infested, mismanaged, deteriorating, unlawful
Former Tenant
Pros:
The only pro is that the building is rent regulated and the prices are reasonable.
Cons:
Everything. The building superintendant does not give a single care about the property nor does the landlord. Building in total neglect. Anything done here is through cash bribes including having a repair to your apartment even if using your own repair contractors must bribe the super same goes for a parking space, superintendant asked me for $3000 bribe to make a parking "available".

There are roaches and mice and rats running throughout the building and around it.

elevators dont work half the time, the lobby door is broken and open about 300 dys out of a year.

very dirty and filthy, most residents are non english speaking immigrants so they are afraid of complaining for the fear of being evicted.
Advice to owner:
Be. human being and put some care into the property instead of paying fines as tax write offs.
