Nice building in a somewhat boring area
Former Tenant
Pros:
+ locked mail room
+ laundry room that almost always has plenty of machines. uses laundry card you can refill with credit card
+ super is friendly and helpful
+ didn't use it enough but the outdoor space in back is nice
+ management handled covid protocols well
+ trash chute and recycling on my floor was convenient
Cons:
- long process to get my sublet approved. but this is a problem with co-ops in general
- not much to do in the neighborhood. quite residential. it's not too far from places like Cortelyou Road where there are good restaurants but there was nothing super interesting within a few blocks' radius
- building itself feels a little outdated and stuffy on the inside, even though my apartment was recently renovated. not a big deal
