Cutthroat landlords stay away
Former Tenant
Pros:
Owners are responsive to issues. They’re pretty easy going on payments if you need more time to pay. They’re old fashioned cash types.
It’s rent stabilized.
Cons:
The place is constantly infested with rats and cockroaches. They do have services to fume the place every once in a while but it doesn’t make them go away. The walls are thin, you can hear everything from your neighbors and outside. There’s a lot of domestic violence. If you’re a freelancer or a content producer, and you need moments of privacy and quiet, stay away from this place. If you plan to move out, move out without telling the landlords!!!!! Do not even give them a week or a few days notice!!!! They will illegally go into your apartment, junk all your stuff, or even give your items away to their business associates if it’s nice enough. I learned this the hard way. I’ve watched them break laws to displace tenants even if they lived there for years, always paid rent, and they still had a month left. If you leave the apartment, they storm in and forcibly take everything.
Advice to owner:
None because I doubt they’ll listen when they know what they’re doing already

Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to train, convinent location.
Cons:
Everything else, especially landlord that harass you and don't fix anything. They're openly abusive to all the tenants.
Advice to owner:
Get out of the game.
