Boiler problems, heat problems, cold water problems, incompetent management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The community vibes in the building were great, the other tenants were honest and friendly. The location is very convenient to subway access. The ceilings are high.
Cons:
The heat went out completely numerous times when I lived there. In the winter of 2022 the heat went out at least three times in the middle of the night. The water was rarely hot and often not warm for showers. The laundry room is filthy. Hallways are not mopped and were dirty, often with pieces of trash on the stairwells. The management would simply not answer emails or calls.
Advice to owner:
I don't think they care.

Meh. Building was sold and has new owners
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super is very nice and responsive. The stairwells and lobby are kept fairly clean compared to other buildings I’ve seen

UPDATE Feb 2022: the building was sold and the new owners/super seem to not care at all. Responsiveness, building cleanliness, have both gone down.
Cons:
I really liked the old super, new super is not as friendly or professional. The lobby and hall ways are a mess. You can literally see where they swept into a corner and just left it.

Lived here one year
Former Tenant
Pros:
Loved the live-in super. Very kind and responsive.
Cons:
Neighbor had parties late into the night. But it wasn’t a long term issue after I mentioned it to the super.
