Live in a spacious slum!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Two entrances for the apartments and the neighborhood can’t be beat.
Cons:
Where to begin? So many thing wrong with this dump! To make things easier, I’ll just list them.
-Horribly shallow closets. Could t close the door if you had normal sized hangers up.
- Enormous gaps between floor and wall, so high allowed all manner of vermin to get in.
- Shower door installed wrong.
- Pieces if floor would break off for no reason.
- The heat was oppressive and if you tried to turn off the radiators, they would leak.
-Most of the windows were busted and landlord never got around to fix them, even though he took measurements twice and it was a condition on our lease.
-Hallway and staircases were filthy, colored shit brown (like, why?)
- Staircases we’re not up to code. The steps were so shallow that you always felt like you might fall.
- We fixed up one of the closets and as soon as we moved out, he ripped everything we built out. Without the custom work we did, that closet is useless.
- There is a totally pointless radiator in the kitchen. Incidentally, the only new one in the whole apartment. Also the only one without holes in the floor underneath.
- The landlord installed a washer and dryer in the basement that only the family in the first floor could use.
Advice to owner:
Stop being such a filthy slumlord! Fix what you say you’re going to fix and get someone competent! That building is a disaster.
