dangerous tenants, unreponsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
It has upgraded appliances, if you get the right apartment. dishwasher, microwave, full size fridge.
Cons:
The neighbors used to be nice, but then they let in one really bad person and the place has fallen apart. it’s dangerous there now, you can’t enter the basement safely. The laundry there never worked anyways, but now you have to be careful of the people that are down there. Locks get put on, and then someone removes them, so anyone can be there. Plus the front door lock to the building is constantly picked or broken.

Expect craziness, seeing the cops show up, drug usage, and fights. And forget the super, he’ll do nothing. The common areas used to be kept well, but eventually it got dirty and maintenance fell off. They used to do monthly spraying for pests, but then stopped. And they don’t help with the crazy neighbors. Cops won’t do anything, and landlord and super won’t tell them anything either.
Advice to owner:
Nothing, I’ve talked to them enough and they do nothing anyways.

Never move here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbours are crazy trashy people. Some of them are violent and aggressive, and can get physical because you walk in your own place and they don’t like it. (Building has NO insulation). Landlord doesn’t care. If you like peaceful life, never move here!!!
Also, super likes to come and knock on your door whenever he feels like it. He has questions about your neighbours next door, he’ll be knocking at your door. This is seriously disturbing. You pay rent on time but still have to deal with super because he is interested in your neighbours who don’t pay. What does it have to do with me?? Why you keep coming and knocking on my door???
Cons:
Dishwasher, closets, renovation
Advice to owner:
Start running a check on your tenants! If one tenant is literally insane and bothers at least 3 apartments who pay you, don’t be an ignorant useless person. Do something!

156 88th street brooklyn ny 11209
Former Tenant
Pros:
Located in a very nice neighborhood
Cons:
Everything else sucks. No living superintendent, very noisy and dirty. Garbage management is terrible. Landlord completley absent and not responsive at all.
Advice to owner:
You need to be more responsive and responsible on day to day building maintenance (cleanliness...etc) also be on the look of some tenants .
